On September 20, 2024 I had the honor of participating in designer Josep Rosell’s haute couture show in Mollerussa, at the Restquitx Restaurant. A unique event that fused art and fashion, and my Reluet collection of resilient abstract sculptures and paintings, ideal for decorating spaces that remind you to move forward without judgment, complemented the aesthetic of the event by providing an artistic dimension that resonated deeply with the assistants.
I love to experiment, create synergies between art and fashion, break standards and move in atypical settings leaving the gallery format.
This time Josep Rosell focused his new collection Kimyou reflecting on the changes and reincarnation main theme of Reluet. Hence, my sculptures and paintings provided an additional element that fit perfectly with this concept, highlighting the importance of multidisciplinary creativity aligned with the values of the Reluet universe: resilience, reinvention and courage.
We previously selected the works at the Reluet Gallery, we wanted to create an inclusive visual dialogue between fashion and art.
For this occasion I selected the following works:
– Resilient art sculpture “The Phoenix Bird”, represents transformation and rebirth, a focal point in the parade. I created it with a brick from my new home after having to pack my bags through a swamp. A work that captured attention for its intricate design and majestic presence.
– Resilient art sculpture “Abundance, being yourself”, I created it with a ham holder from my beloved home. It represents prosperity and growth, symbolizing a new beginning in life. This piece resonated with those who sought inspiration from its message of hope and wealth.
– Resilient art sculpture “The will, the investment that revalues itself”, symbolizes inner strength and determination, fundamental elements to face any challenge. I created it with a brick from my new home. Its bold and significant design did not leave anyone indifferent.
– Resilient art painting “Balance, move forward without demanding yourself.” It encapsulates the essence of harmony and stability in life to symbolize the balance needed to face challenges with vibrant use of color and dynamic composition.
– Resilient art painting “Escape from the boring”. It represents metamorphosis. The transformation after understanding that power is doing.
“The day I understood the why and the purpose of what I did, my life took a 180 degree turn. I believe in an awakened society and that is why I help you to be free with the same innocence as a child anchoring you to the present .
Our environment does not understand that we decide to make a 180 degree turn in our lives because we had everything under control and now we are going to be moving.”
If you have a project for me, it will be a pleasure to help you make it a reality. These parts are available for purchase.
Reluet’s motto “We are rivers that, when joined, form a beautiful confluence.”
I like to experiment, challenge myself and let my imagination flow, which has no limits. Reluet is my home, and therefore, there are no limits. It is my refuge to be able to live and not die in a sheet of dirty water, the swamp.
