Abstract Sculptures: The Volume of Resilience and Memory in Space
In this collection, resilient art takes on weight, depth, and a palpable presence, giving three-dimensional form to the memory that Núria Companys Castro captures in her book. These pieces translate the Reluet Method into solid forms that engage directly with the space: from the reflective fold of descent and the alchemy of integrated scars to the vertical steadfastness of one who upholds their own sovereignty in the real world.
Inspired by Miralpeix’s experiences and memories, these abstract sculptures transform fracture and uprooting into tangible dignity. Art transforms every corner into a personal sanctuary of calm, breaking down architectural rigidity and serving as a physical reminder of the human capacity to adapt, embrace scars, and chart one’s own life story with resolve and self-determination.
As the artist herself points out: “It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up and keep moving forward with what truly resonates with you. Walk with a firm step, without fear, with confidence and pride in yourself, because everything will be okay. You are a river: focus on what you desire. What goes well is perfect; what doesn’t is a learning opportunity.”
