READ HER STORY
Painting The Origin

Life gave the artist the brushes to dance freely on stage again, your smile when discovering the work, and knowing that the history of her village is not forgotten under her pseudonym.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK:

The artist, in a process of personal transformation, decided in 2009 that it was time to live life to the fullest, moving away from the intense but arduous beauty of darkness.

On this journey, she found her faithful companion in the pencil, and the notebook blog became her compass, guiding her through a universe of rediscovery.

The brushes represented the places to explore, while the act of drawing became her moment of awareness, unifying her authenticity with her identity.

Sculpture emerges as a tangible manifestation of this creative process, composed of rescued elements.

The summit we all long for, peace, is redefined through the roots the artist discovered when the waters of the swamp receded in 2022, along with the iron feet of a flowerpot that belonged to her ancestral home, now submerged.

The elbow of a water pipe symbolizes the notion of directions and paths taken, a reminder that our choices guide us toward new directions.

For its part, the wire mesh represents the visualization and depth of desires, which are not mere fantasies, but palpable realities that deserve to be manifested.

In a world characterized by immediacy and impatience, the mirror stands as a perfect ally for the artist.

This object anchors her in the present, allowing her to discover the uniqueness of each face, each story, and each moment.

At the intersection of creation and self-discovery, the artist invites viewers to reflect on their own identity and appreciate the beauty of the present moment.
