On February 25 I had the pleasure of being interviewed along with the entire team of the short film «Memory underwater» by the journalist Gerard in the program «Conecta Lleida Pirineus» . A co-production by Balaguer Televisión, Lleida Televisión, Pirineos Televisión, Aran Televisión, Tàrrega Televisión, Mollerussa Televisión and Xarxa Televisión directed by Mariví Chacon.
They interviewed us while recording in Castellserà in the house where Eva, the protagonist of the short film, lived.
Transcript of the interview introduction:
The Bajo Sió area has seen the birth and development of a unique audiovisual project. «Memory underwater» is a short film that is being filmed right now between Montgai and Castellserà, and this project was created in an audiovisual workshop in the «Lo Carreró» cultural space in the municipality of La Noguera. With the intention of giving visibility to often forgotten stories, the award-winning director Alfonso Gazitúa and the co-writers Núria Companys, Miquel Badia, Ricard Guiu and Jordi Herdia, have written a story about loss and roots in the past, against the background of the towns lost due to the construction of swamps.
