From November 24, 2024 , to December 1, I had the honor of participating in the sixth edition of the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF), a cutting-edge event that brings together artists and creatives from around the world in a unique and inspiring setting. 73 countries and 350 artists.
QIAF has become an essential platform for highlighting the importance of art in challenging times, and Reluet has been part of this transformative experience.
Participating in QIAF has allowed me to present my works, which focus on resilience and self-exploration. In a world that often feels disconnected and overwhelming, art serves as a beacon of hope, and my Reluet works invite viewers to reflect on their own experiences and emotions.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to engage with a collection of illustrations that blend creativity with healing. Reluet is proud to have shared this space with artists from various disciplines, all united by a common passion: using art as a means of connection and emotional well-being.
I would like to thank the organizers of QIAF for providing such a valuable platform for artists and for promoting dialogue about the importance of art in our lives. Reluet remains committed to inspiring others to find their authenticity through the creative process and to fostering meaningful conversation within the art world.
Together, we will move toward a future where art will be a tool for transformation and resilience.
To learn more about my work, feel free to contact me or visit the Reluet Gallery in Lleida.
On Friday night, a fever began to take hold of my body. But this was my moment. I’d traveled kilometers to be here, and I wasn’t going to stay in bed. I got up, even with a fever, because I had to be by my sisters’ side. This is my language, and my purpose is to foster creativity and curiosity in a society that needs to reconnect with its authentic essence.
Get back up as many times as it takes, don’t give up, stay true to yourself, and don’t let anything or anyone take away your smile.
WHATEVER YOU DO, ENJOY THE JOURNEY
