I believed in myself, listened to myself consciously, and rediscovered the barren void as a fertile void of abundance that my eyes could not see,
Courage.
“Once upon a time there was a pencil that, after seeing its home cradled by the waters, thought it didn’t fit in this world.”
The disappearance of my town Miralpeix under the waters of the Segre River after the construction of the Rialp reservoir in 1999 led me to create a story of self-discovery, struggle, resilience and reinvention that gave rise to Reluet, an artistic project that accompanies taking action.
“One day, his strokes added more dimension and color to his life. He caressed – but he still did not understand – the message that his knowing heart sent him in each of the compositions, his reflections, his brushstrokes, the magic of the non-artistic objects that he chose.
Since 2009, after the death of my paternal grandfather, I forged my seal of authenticity that allowed me to understand that the reservoir can only take over the bricks, but not the soul, the memories or the smells. Hence, he creates with non-artistic objects and materials that feel and shine with words.
We are rivers, not swamps.
Rivers that come together
with other rivers to form
a beautiful confluence.

My proposal is based on the messages that want to be a compass. Through them I create pieces with personality that discover tangible beauty.
My creations range from an atypical photograph that speaks of intertwined lineages or that helps us rediscover our name, to the metamorphosis of the elements themselves. With the first ones, I give life to the initials of names or companies; while, with the latter, I create versatile compositions based on reflections.
My hope is reciprocal: to accompany you in your project and for you to accompany me in making your home my refuge to shine the story of my identity.
I move forward without demanding myself. The complex is a bad philosophy of life.
