On April 20 and 21, 2024, I attended the 21st edition of the Arteria International Contemporary Art Fair, and without a moment’s hesitation, I accepted the invitation to collaborate on the “Pinceladas de Vida” project by drawing the heart of Reluet, the river of rediscovery, on a canvas that was purchased for me after some children painted over my drawing.
“Brushstrokes of Life” is an initiative organized by various municipal schools in Monzón in conjunction with the Contemporary Art Fair. This event benefits the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer), and participants can add a few brushstrokes to a canvas and make a donation. This painting, full of energy, color, and hope, will be raffled off among the participants at the end of the event.
“Brushstrokes of Life” drawing the heart of Reluet, the river of rediscovery
Remember that our dream is a marathon to undertake. We must trust ourselves, melt with gratitude the doubts, barriers and limitations that they tell us, with a resilient, tenacious attitude, perseverance and indomitable will towards what awakens us.
You know that I tell you my rivers, that the swamp only took over my home, but not my raised voice in my artistic language, the strength of the rivers and the confluences, where you are the most important element of this dialogue. The legacy.
