Abstract Painting: The Color of Resilience on Material and Canvas
Each canvas translates resilient art into a purely visual experience where color speaks the intimate language of *The Color of Resilience*: We were born rivers and will die as rivers. These pieces follow the fluid rhythm of the Reluet Method on the canvas: from the reflective retreat of descent and the alchemy of pain transmuted into texture, to the vibrant radiance of those who reclaim their own inner sovereignty.
Through the open brushstrokes in each abstract painting, the work follows the fluid rhythm of the Reluet Method: an honest gaze that delves into inner currents, transforms pain into texture, and flows with radiance into the calm of inner sovereignty.
As the artist herself points out: “The word “late” only exists in your dictionary—which is called “thought.” What are you waiting for?

“Welcoming” becomes a symbol of Núria’s inner struggle to decipher her life’s purpose. The door submerged in the reservoir represents a profound challenge, while the 13 years that passed before she titled the work reflect a journey marked by self-exploration and emotional resilience. Along the way, her heart—blinded by love—led her to temporarily ignore the message of her own brushes, underscoring the complexity of her artistic and emotional journey toward authenticity and acceptance.

“Desanclar” is Núria’s tribute to hope and resilience, using her paintbrushes as tools of empowerment.
This work stands as a powerful reminder—built around a door salvaged from his home, which was lost beneath the reservoir—that nothing and no one can hold back our drive to move forward with determination, without limits or judgment.

Casa Reluet “Embracing Change” is a key work created at Casa Reluet, a garden with a unique identity that, in 2009, became the place where Núria blossomed creatively after losing her childhood home to the rising waters of the Rialb Reservoir. Using objects salvaged from the mud, the artist brought to life a new refuge that, years later, would become a welcoming space where families come to share unforgettable moments with their loved ones.
In 2022, after contracting a virus that left her completely paralyzed, Núria returned to this nurturing environment in search of answers. It was there that she managed to uncover her true purpose in life, which inspired her to make a definitive 180-degree turn in her life’s path through deep acceptance and resilient art.

The Journey of Abstract Painting: The Reluet Method
PHASE 1: THE DESCENT
Pausing the mental rush and dwelling on the descent allows us to observe stagnation without judgment. Here, abstract painting captures the murmur of living water and teaches us to let go of control over the immovable, reminding us that resisting the meander saps our strength, while flowing restores life’s natural direction.
“We were born as rivers and will die as rivers: resisting the current drains our energy; flowing with the current restores our direction.” — Núria
PHASE 2: THE ALCHEMY OF THE RIVERBED
PHASE 3: THE CONFLUENCE
At this confluence, the river ceases its struggle against its banks and unleashes its full, expanded power. A vibrant abstract painting with bold strokes and luminous hues embodies self-mastery, restoring to the individual the certainty of being the sole navigator and sovereign creator of his or her destiny.
“When you stop being a victim of external forces, you become the conscious creator who guides your own destiny.” — Núria
