RELUET: The Color of Resilience is the foundational book of the Resilient Art movement, created by the artist Núria Companys Castro—a native of Lleida—in September 2009. Following the second major loss of her life—that of her paternal grandfather, Josep—the author created a universe of resilient symbols expressed through sculpture, illustration, and painting, inspired by listening to the hidden messages within objects her family had managed to salvage from the water, such as doors and windows, among others.

As a member of the last generation of Miralpeix—a Pre-Pyrenean village submerged beneath the Rialb reservoir in 1999—the author shares a unique interactive concept in this work, using the powerful metaphor of the river to invite us to awaken our imagination, break free from stagnation, and reconnect with our radical authenticity by flowing without resistance.
