Sometimes life submerges us under deep waters, as happened with the memories of my childhood at Cal Teuler. For years, those roots were under the swamp, silent. But today, I choose not to be a stagnant water; I choose to flow.
It is an honor for me to share with you the cover of Ocio Mood (March 2026 edition). In this session, captured by Alejandra Pérez Alva’s gaze, I return to the water, but this time not to sink, but to hold on to it with my Reluet Resilient Art.
Ocio Mood is a digital art and culture magazine with an international focus, although its roots and main base are in Mexico.
What is Reluet for me?
For many, Reluet is an artistic movement. For me, it is my life purpose. It’s how I decided to transform loss and adversity into something that is not only beautiful, but healing.
In the interview I’m sharing with you today, we talked about something I’m passionate about: creating so as not to break. My works, from sculptures to my illustrations, are “cries” that invite you to wake up. I don’t want it to take anyone 23 years to find their own flow, like it happened to me.
What you will find in this article:
- My transformation process: How I went from grief to creative power.
- The meaning of my pieces: Why each stroke is a vindication of our authenticity.
- The invitation to flow: Art as a tool to reconnect with who we really are.
“We are rivers, not stagnant swamps. The color of resilience is in each of us, waiting to be released.”
I invite you to join me on this journey of introspection and color. You can see the full interview and the heart of this report in the link below. Thank you for being part of this rebirth.
