Interview “Núria Companys Brings Her Art to the Louvre”

The prominent artist Núria Companys, originally from Miralpeix and residing in Agramunt, has had the opportunity to showcase her work at the prestigious Art Shopping 2024, an event held from October 18 to 20 at the iconic Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. The artist reflects her enthusiasm about the experience: “I am very happy to have been this weekend at the Louvre with my works. I participated with paintings and sculptures and had a great reception.”
An International Event that Attracts the Best Artists
In its 34th edition, Art Shopping has brought together more than a hundred artists and galleries from around the world, attracted by over 10,000 visitors eager to discover and acquire works from prominent painters, photographers, and sculptors. Núria highlights the cultural diversity experienced at the event, mentioning the presence of artists from countries such as the United States, Korea, and Japan, among others. This mix of cultures and styles once again demonstrates that contemporary art knows no borders.
A Year of Successes and New Opportunities
In addition to her participation in Art Shopping in Paris, Núria Companys has taken her work to other countries during 2024, including exhibitions in Luxembourg and Denmark. “We have been in Madrid, Barcelona, Luxembourg, Denmark, and Italy. The truth is that I am super happy for all the support received,” comments the artist.
Upcoming Exhibitions: A Continuous Commitment to Art
Looking to the future, Núria has planned an exhibition at the exhibition hall of the Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova in Lleida, which will open on November 18. Additionally, she will participate in an art festival in Qatar at the end of November, where she will address themes of resilience and the rediscovery of objects. These upcoming activities are a testament to Núria’s commitment to spreading her art and her positive message.
