A few days ago, my rivers, I experienced a very special moment as an artist: I had the honor of being one of the artists recognized in the third edition of the Atenea Recognition, a beautiful initiative that highlights the work of women linked to Urgell.
Sharing space with so many creative women—painters, draftsmen, sculptors—+INFOwho, like me, have fought to make their work visible in an often masculinized world, was moving and inspiring.
This recognition has a very strong symbolic force. It tells us that yes, our artistic voices matter, that our perspectives transform, and that our work also contributes to culture, memory, and the future.
Thanks to the women’s associations of Tàrrega and Talladell, and to the Department of Feminism for promoting this event. Also to all the people who make it possible with love and commitment.
“I feel grateful, proud, and even more motivated to continue creating from the heart and from my identity. And above all, to continue sharing art with all of you. Athena is with us.”
