On May 16, 2025, the much-anticipated presentation and opening of the joint exhibition will take place at the Teatre Auditori de Salou , as part of the first edition of the Souvenir Art Awards , organized by the Chair of Innovation and Research in Tourism Salou Costa-Daurada . This event celebrates the creativity of 51 artisans and designers from all over Catalonia who have reinvented the image of souvenirs to project the essence of Salou, an iconic tourist city.
We are pleased to announce that Reluet is part of this select exhibition. My name, Núria, is presented under the pseudonym Reluet, and I have created a very special watercolor piece in which I have encrypted the soul of a place full of light, sea, and memories. This work is titled “Salou, Waves of Sun and Smiles.”
In this painting, each letter comes to life as a symbol of resilience:
-
S : Deep connection with nature
-
A : A sail that propels us
-
L : The propeller that moves us
-
O : The sun that embraces us
-
U : A wave of smiles and memories
The artwork not only celebrates a place, but also invites reflection on what we need to return to ourselves: unlearning what no longer serves us and making space for what does.
After Salou, the intention is to bring this exhibition to other spaces, such as the Faculty of Tourism and Geography of the URV , and new calls for future editions are already being considered.
I invite you to explore and enjoy this creative cultural fusion through the souvenirs that reflect the essence of Salou. Enjoy the exhibition!
Would you like me to encrypt your place, your family, or your business into a resilient symbol?
