On June 28, 2024, I had the pleasure of participating with M. Victoria Serna, artist and curator of the Imaginarte Gallery, in the collective international contemporary art exhibition “Homenaje a Joaquin Torres Garcia”, for its 150th anniversary, held in its Barcelona Gallery. A joint exhibition with other fellow artists until July 7, 2024.
With the presence of authorities from Uruguay and Argentina and collaboration of the Uruguayan Consulate, Casa Amigos de la Unesco and Casa del Uruguay Association.
Joaquín Torres Garcia was a great teacher. Painter, teacher, writer, sculptor and Uruguayan art theorist. He is the creator of constructive universalism and the Taller Torres García, one of the main artistic movements in his country.
