On August 24, 2024 I had the pleasure of participating with the painter Josep Aragonès Zafra in the II night of art at the Monasterio de las Avellanas. The IX collective of Grupdart.cat “Les mans de les arts” dedicated to the autumn harvest.
What a magical experience!
My resilient abstract sculpture “El Riego” shone in an ephemeral place that seemed straight out of a Disney story.
Upon arrival, you are greeted with poetry, ballet dances, jesters and knights. A tenora and a cello were playing at the entrance to the monastery. After crossing the door, the tour began through the different chambers, each one with its own charm.
“El Riego” a unique sculpture in homage to farmers with a non-artistic object, a watering can from my grandmother Josefa.
This work of art from my resilient art collection that invites you to heal the wounds and move forward was located in the dining room where you could taste delicious dishes that were authentic works of art.
In another chamber, the church, musicians played songs that came from the soul.
An unforgettable event that combined art, history and emotion in every corner.
A work of art that helps you invest in yourself. Work available.
The water, the fertility of tears, the will to continue.
Life doesn’t give you anything. She has created you to move. It is up to you whether you bloom or remain leafless.
