Núria Companys Castro invites us to look beyond the obvious.

Núria Companys Castro, an artist who has transcended the boundaries of painting, illustration and sculpture, is also the founder of the “Resilient Art Movement” with her multidisciplinary project “Reluet”. His work, which has been displayed in numerous exhibitions, is a testament to his ability to transform adversity into art.

The artist born in Miralpeix, a picturesque town in the province of Lleida, Spain, faced a significant loss at the age of thirteen when her ancestral home, “Cal Teuler”, was submerged by a swamp. This event catalyzed her artistic exploration around reinvention, resilience and bravery.

The project “Reluet” arises from “Teuler” (original name of his house) read backwards, it is a visual narrative of his lost home. Since then, Núria Companys Castro rescues inanimate objects from “Cal Teuler”, such as doors, windows and chairs, and revitalizes them through her art.

His work, which involves imagination, research, experimentation and a deep connection with symbolism, focuses on three key concepts:

1. Reinvention: Give new life and meaning to forgotten objects.
2. Resilience: Demonstrates the ability to overcome challenges and adapt.
3. Courage: Expresses your story and emotions, inviting the public to share your artistic journey.

Among his notable works is “Masked Warrior,” a sculpture that symbolizes bravery in the face of adversity. This piece represents the artist’s grandiose rebirth from darkness to light, giving new life to elements of her former house submerged underwater. The work invites you not to fight against destiny, but to have fun taking control of it, waking up every day with knowledge of yourself and your own value.

In addition to “Masked Warrior”, Núria has created other significant works such as “Orígen”, “Control” and “Awakening”, each reflecting the ideals of her art. He also employs cryptology to preserve the history of messages, adding a layer of mystery and depth to his work.

Núria Companys Castro inspires us to see life as a source of light, even in the darkest moments. His art, like a river joining others, creates a confluence of beauty and meaning.
