Reluet is among the 24 artists selected for the 15th Transformarte National Contest, organized by the Caja Rioja Foundation and Caixa Bank, which recognizes works created with recycled materials, with the only limits being the artist’s creativity and ingenuity.
They say that gratitude melts away fear
From February 5, 2024, through February 29, my work *Control* will be on display at the Caja Rioja Foundation in Arnedo, alongside the works of the other 23 artists selected for the 15th Transformarte National Competition, organized by the Caja Rioja Foundation and Caixa Bank.
A contemporary art exhibition featuring non-artistic objects that we consider obsolete.
We would like to thank Laura Pérez Martinez, Director of the Caja Rioja Foundation Center in Arnedo, for her hospitality and attention, as well as the Caja Rioja Foundation and Caixa Bank.
Title of the work: Control – Reluet
“Transformarte” Exhibition – Artworks Made from Recycled Materials
Through this contest, “Transformarte,” the Caja Rioja Foundation promotes artistic creation using waste materials, as the fundamental requirement of this initiative is that the works of art be made from recycled materials.
Artists, as one would expect, amaze us with their originality and their ability to transform materials destined for the trash into works of art.
Wood, metal, plastics, electronic waste, concrete debris, and many other materials recovered from landfills, dumpsters, and industrial or household waste are showcased as true works of art at the 15th Transformarte National Competition.
The Caja Rioja Foundation is the sole successor to a savings bank established 73 years ago through the will of the people of La Rioja and thanks to a tremendous effort by the Provincial Council to get it off the ground.
Its mission is to transform society and improve the lives of the people of La Rioja, wherever they may live.
His vision is to see an institution that is close to the people, contributes to social progress, and brings culture to all the residents of La Rioja.
Its values: sustainability, cultural democracy and citizen participation, environmental commitment and respect for the landscape, diversity, and a commitment to local communities.
Caixa Banka: Our mission is to be there for people in everything that matters.
As a financial institution, it builds relationships based on trust with people to help them make the right decisions that ensure their individual well-being and that of society as a whole in a sustainable manner.
Its mission: to contribute to the financial well-being of its clients and to the progress of society as a whole.
