This work conceptually revolves around learning. It alludes to thought by materializing it with a precious stone, a diamond. An indestructible stone, impressive in its formations and of unparalleled brilliance.

Capricious world

Reluet’s work conceptually revolves around the capricious world in which we live.

For the artist, the swamp was the loss of dreams that the water took away from her and now they revive through art under her pseudonym Reluet, the reverse of the name of her home, Cal Teuler, in Miralpeix.

I had to repeat the exam many times and look how easy it was. The answer was to listen to myself. I think that if we get complicated it is because we are not one hundred percent sure of ourselves. We are our teacher and student.”

The Phoenix Bird

Reluet’s work conceptually revolves around the myth of the Phoenix Bird due to its symbolism of hope and regeneration, becoming the center of artistic imagination. The Phoenix invites us to reflect on death and memory.

In this work, the artist also addresses social consciousness, connecting people’s souls with individual and collective identity, intertwining their history with the present.

It entails his home in Miralpeix when he opened the window and heard the water colliding with the rocks polished over the years. An ancestral house in which many generations had shared the same place and dreamed of.

Important dates

This work conceptually revolves around important dates that represent social value. It alludes to celebrations as a pleasant flavor, intensely bright, elusive and impossible to usurp between darkness and light. Events, a spectrum of colors.

The artist’s family in 1995, for San José, gave the keys to their home, Cal Teuler to the Confederation of the Ebro and in 1999 their feet said goodbye to the streets of their town, Miralpeix, along with other families from 5 more towns Tiurana, La Clua, Bassella, Castellnou de Basella and Aguilar.
