On June 28, 2024, I had<\/strong> the pleasure of participating with M. Victoria Serna, artist and curator of the Imaginarte Gallery, in the collective international contemporary art exhibition \u201cHomenaje a Joaquin Torres Garcia\u201d, for its 150th anniversary, held in its Barcelona Gallery.<\/strong> A joint exhibition with other fellow artists until July 7, 2024.<\/p>\n With the presence of authorities from Uruguay and Argentina and collaboration of the Uruguayan Consulate, Casa Amigos de la Unesco and Casa del Uruguay Association.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.25.2″ text_font=”Montserrat||||||||” text_font_size=”18px” text_line_height=”1.8em” header_font=”||||||||” header_2_font=”Montserrat|500|||||||” header_2_text_align=”left” header_2_font_size=”18px” header_2_letter_spacing=”2px” header_2_line_height=”1.3em” header_3_font=”Montserrat||||||||” header_3_text_align=”center” header_3_text_color=”#494949″ header_3_font_size=”23px” header_3_letter_spacing=”5px” header_3_line_height=”2em” transform_translate_linked=”off” module_alignment=”center” custom_margin=”||19px|||” hover_enabled=”0″ header_2_font_size_tablet=”40px” header_2_font_size_phone=”26px” header_2_font_size_last_edited=”on|tablet” global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n Joaqu\u00edn Torres Garcia was a great teacher. Painter, teacher, writer, sculptor and Uruguayan art theorist.
