On May 24, 2024, I had<\/strong> the pleasure of participating, alongside M. Victoria Serna\u2014an artist and curator at the Imaginarte Gallery\u2014in the international contemporary art group exhibition \u201cDelios de la Imaginaci\u00f3n,\u201d a tribute to Salvador Dal\u00ed, held at her gallery in Barcelona.<\/strong> This joint exhibition with fellow artists ran through June 25, 2024. <\/p>\nThis exhibition sought to explore how Dal\u00ed’s surrealist vision has inspired and left its mark on the work of other contemporary artists.<\/p>\n

Salvador Dal\u00ed is the great genius of Surrealism. He was born on May 11, 1904, in Figueres, Girona, and went on to become one of the most internationally renowned Spanish painters in history, a master of the Surrealist style, and an icon of contemporary painting thanks to his highly personal and extravagant style. <\/p>\n

N\u00faria lost her home to a flood when she was thirteen.<\/p>\n
Just like Salvador Dal\u00ed, this episode left a deep impression on me, as I believed I had lost my identity in a swamp when I woke up and realized that they had only taken the bricks\u2014but not my voice, raised under my pseudonym Reluet\u2014which is, in fact, the name of my beloved home, Teuler, in Miralpeix.<\/p>\n
