N\u00faria Companys Castro invites us to look beyond the obvious.<\/strong><\/p>\nN\u00faria Companys Castro, an artist who has transcended the boundaries of painting, illustration and sculpture, is also the founder of the \u201cResilient Art Movement\u201d with her multidisciplinary project \u201cReluet\u201d<\/strong>. His work, which has been displayed in numerous exhibitions, is a testament to his ability to transform adversity into art. <\/strong><\/p>\nThe artist born in Miralpeix, a picturesque town in the province of Lleida, Spain, faced a significant loss at the age of thirteen when her ancestral home, \u201cCal Teuler\u201d, was submerged by a swamp. This event catalyzed her artistic exploration around reinvention, resilience and bravery.<\/p>\n
The project \u201cReluet\u201d arises from \u201cTeuler\u201d (original name of his house) read backwards, it is a visual narrative of his lost home. Since then, N\u00faria Companys Castro rescues inanimate objects from \u201cCal Teuler\u201d, such as doors, windows and chairs, and revitalizes them through her art. <\/strong><\/p>\nHis work, which involves imagination, research, experimentation and a deep connection with symbolism, focuses on three key concepts:<\/p>\n

Among his notable works is \u201cMasked Warrior,\u201d a sculpture that symbolizes bravery in the face of adversity<\/strong>. This piece represents the artist’s grandiose rebirth from darkness to light, giving new life to elements of her former house submerged underwater. The work invites you not to fight against destiny, but to have fun taking control of it, waking up every day with knowledge of yourself and your own value.<\/p>\nIn addition to \u201cMasked Warrior\u201d, N\u00faria has created other significant works such as \u201cOr\u00edgen\u201d, \u201cControl\u201d and \u201cAwakening\u201d, each reflecting the ideals of her art. He also employs cryptology to preserve the history of messages, adding a layer of mystery and depth to his work.<\/p>\n
