On May 16, 2025, the highly anticipated presentation and opening of the joint exhibition will take place at the Salou Auditorium Theater, <\/strong> as part of the first edition of the Souvenir Art Awards, <\/strong> organized by the Salou Costa-Daurada Chair of Tourism Innovation and Research. <\/strong> This event celebrates the creativity of 51 artisans and designers from <\/strong>across Catalonia who have reinvented the image of souvenirs to capture the essence of Salou, an iconic tourist city. <\/span><\/p>\n

I am pleased to announce that Reluet is <\/strong>part of this select exhibition. For this occasion, I created a very special watercolor print in which I captured the essence of a place filled with light, the sea, and memories. This work is titled \u201cSalou, Waves of Sun and Smiles.\u201d <\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

In this painting, each letter comes to life as a symbol of resilience:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • S: <\/strong> A deep connection with nature<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A: <\/strong> A sail that propels us forward<\/span><\/li>\n
  • L: <\/strong> The propeller that drives us<\/span><\/li>\n
  • O: <\/strong> The Sun That Embraces Us<\/span><\/li>\n
  • U: <\/strong> A wave of smiles and memories<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The work not only celebrates a place, but also invites us to reflect on what we need to reconnect with ourselves: to unlearn what no longer serves us and make room for what does.<\/span><\/p>\n

    After Salou, the plan is to take this exhibition to other venues, such as the URV\u2019s Faculty of Tourism and Geography, <\/strong> and new calls for entries are already being considered for future editions.<\/span><\/p>\n

    I invite you to explore and enjoy this creative cultural fusion through souvenirs that capture the essence of Salou. Enjoy the exhibition! <\/span><\/p>\n
