It is a deep emotional journey that invites reflection on the uprooting and collective memory of those communities that have been submerged by the waters of the swamps. This film project was born from a Short Film Workshop at the Lo Carrer\u00f3 cultural center in Montgai, to give life to a narrative that touches the essence of what it means to belong to a place.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A Deep and Resonant Narrative<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The story revolves around a woman who, trapped by the weight of her memories, visits her town&#8217;s reservoir daily, looking for a connection with her past. His ritual of immersing himself in the water symbolizes the attempt to recover what was lost, but it also reflects the pain of uprooting and the internal struggle between the desire to forget and the need to remember. When her grandfather invites her to share a meal in memory of her mother, she faces a profound dilemma: participate in the life of the community or remain immersed in her loneliness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This short film not only presents a personal story; addresses universal questions about identity, loss and resistance. It is a mirror that reflects the experiences of many families who, forced by other people&#8217;s decisions, were displaced, seeing how their homes became a symbol of oblivion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A Call to Solidarity<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To carry out this significant work, its Director Alfonso Gazit\u00faa Gaete, Miquel Badia Vendrell, Ricard Guiu Peir\u00f3, Jordi Herbera Dolcet and I make an urgent call to the artistic community and film lovers: we need your support as patrons. The production, which seeks to tell stories that are often ignored, is in a crowdfunding campaign on Verkami. Every contribution is crucial to ensure that these voices are heard and that the memory of these people is kept alive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By supporting this project, you are not only investing in the production of a short film, but you are also participating in an act of cultural resistance. Cultural resistance to uprooting and loss becomes a struggle for identity. When people forget their history, they lose the thread that connects them to their identity and their culture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We will film in the Noguera region, a place steeped in shared stories and memories.
