After years of silence and darkness in Miralpeix\u2014a village submerged beneath the waters of the Rialp reservoir in 1999\u2014artist N\u00faria Companys Castro<\/strong>, representing the final generation of its inhabitants, deciphered a truth: matter holds memory,<\/strong> and pain is sculpted just like clay. Her “Reluet Method,” born in September 2009 following the loss of her paternal grandfather Josep\u2014her second major personal loss\u2014is not an ephemeral theory, but a methodology for personal transformation <\/strong>designed to unlearn behaviors and attain inner peace. <\/p>\n

When crises freeze your essence and turn your vital flow into a “swamp” of stagnant water, the artist\u2019s approach focuses on the ultimate map. Thus, you descend into your depths, release your blockages, and reconnect with your natural flow. I lived in darkness for 23 years, and in the last 13,<\/strong> I woke up and realized that the life I wanted didn’t require more passive information, because life remained the same. I was staying on the sidelines, watching life turn into a swamp. <\/span><\/p>\n

But the true transformation is not mental; it is material, it is biological, it is lived.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was deeply listening to the objects my family and I brought with us that accompanied me in rediscovering the authenticity of my true self. Flowing without resistance. <\/span><\/p>\n

I understood my life’s purpose in the summer of 2022: I gave my first painting a title, began signing my works\u2014which until then had been signed by my father, Josep Mar\u00eda\u2014under my pseudonym, and the illustrations were born. Resilient symbols, schematics that encapsulate the Reluet philosophy: We were born rivers and we shall die as rivers. <\/span><\/p>\n

I feel at peace with myself as I heal through my body and capture the Reluet Method in my book, RELUET: THE COLOR OF RESILIENCE<\/strong>\u2014a space of co-creation.<\/span><\/p>\n
