Its story
Painting The first one

Life gave the artist the brushes to dance freely on stage again, your smile when discovering the work, and knowing that the history of her village is not forgotten under her pseudonym.

The canvas was the artist’s first creation, metamorphosing her identity.

The artist understood that she didn’t lose her identity; instead, she raised it from the waters in an artistic expression.

She painted this artwork in 2009 after the death of her paternal grandfather, Josep. She went to the storage, took a door from her beloved home hidden under the dust, her father, Josep Maria divided it into three parts, and she adorned it with the most beautiful dress using plaster. With thick wire, she created a bouquet of flowers symbolizing gratitude for all the years she lived in Cal Teuler with her family in the beautiful village of Miralpeix until the age of thirteen.

Surprisingly, at that moment, she could not give it a title, nor could she sign that artwork or any other. It was her father who signed them because she hadn’t yet been aware of the 180-degree turn that her life would take. She only wrote her pseudonym and the following reflection:

“Imagination is the basis of many things, and our concerns take us into a world where perception allows us to see, for an instant, what we don’t usually see in what surrounds us.”

Years later, the artist made the following reflection:

“Life is light.

Darkness is beauty

I choose light.

No matter how far

I will always get up with a smile.

I will not fall into darkness again.

I will seek the light no matter how hard it is.”

Original and Unique work
Painting The first one

The magic of her brushes begins when an object enters her atelier, she caresses it and surrounds it with the objects that she was able to take from the waters of the swamp. At that moment, she connects her identity with her authenticity and the result is this unique piece that she presents to you, a mixed technique with non-artistic objects. A door.
