Its story
Drawing Important dates

Life gave the artist the brushes to dance freely on stage again, your smile when discovering the work, and knowing that the history of her village is not forgotten under her pseudonym.

In 1995, for San José, the artist’s family handed over the keys of their home, Cal Teuler, to the Confederación del Ebro. In 1999, their feet bid farewell to the streets of their village, Miralpeix, together with other families from five more villages; Tiurana, La Clua, Bassella, Castellnou de Basella, and Aguilar.

For this reason, this illustration conceptually revolves around important dates that represent a social value. Alluding to celebrations as a pleasurable taste, of intense brilliance, elusive and impossible to usurp between darkness and light. Events, a spectrum of colors.

Her reflection after drawing the illustration “Important dates”:

“To rediscover yourself is to invest in the long run. Don’t be discouraged, keep going because you know very well that you can achieve what you decide. The world is drawn by feeling, moving like the air, and investing in what appreciates patience.

Be patient, don’t haste, put all mouths to rest, and remember that flowers do not bloom before their time.”
